Description
The opportunity has arisen for a Sales Assistant to work in our Avoca Belfast store. This role is a part time position with an immediate start.
Responsibilities
- A high standard of customer service is required for the role, including assisting customers in person, via phone and email.
- Point of Sales system – scanning items and taking payments, managing queues in a timely manner.
- Replenishing stock, ensuring the Food offering is always in line with Avoca brand standards.
- Opening and closing duties as outlined by your line manager.
- Advising & serving customers.
Requirements
- Cleanliness/Organisation is essential in this role.
- Excellent timekeeping is a key requirement.
- Effective teamwork and communication skills is essential.li>
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to work well under pressure.
- The capacity to use your initiative.li>
- Experience in food retail is desirable
