121 Account Manager

Job Purpose:

This role is to grow and develop a customer base within a set portfolio to exceed agreed sales targets. You are expected to represent Mitsubishi Electric to the highest of standards, creating a customer centric experience for our customers. This will include prospecting for new customers while maintaining and growing existing accounts.

Experience:

• Industry experience and knowledge would be an advantage but not essential, you will be expected to develop and maintain customer relationships and have the ability to represent the company in a multitude of situations.
• Commercial experience and a proven sales track record would also be an advantage but not essential.
• This role requires good communication, organisational and relationship building skills as well as being IT literate and having excellent telephone manner.

Skills/Responsibilities:

• Achieve and exceed sales targets set.
• Have regular contact with customers via the telephone.
• Process customer quotes.
• Answer any customer queries.
• Assist with customer orders and deliveries.
• Increase the number of trading customers with MEU-UK.
• Increase customer spending frequency with MEU-UK.
• Sell the full MEU-UK product range and upsell on all projects.
• Create, develop, maintain and actively work through a target list of potential customers.
• Work on new, non-spending and/or infrequent spending accounts and increase their spend.
• To be responsible for the data relating to your customers.
• Ensure that individual KPIs, measurements and tasks are completed and a structured sales process is followed.
