Service Engineer
to join their team on a permanent basis.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer with a background in
agricultural or heavy machinery , who enjoys a varied role working both in the workshop and out on customer sites.The RoleReporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on a range of
agricultural machinery .The role will involve a strong focus on
hydraulics and fault finding , alongside mechanical and electrical maintenance.What you’ll be doingServicing and maintaining agricultural and heavy machineryDiagnosing and repairing mechanical and hydraulic faultsCarrying out hydraulic diagnostics and repairsDiagnosing electrical faults across
12V and 24V systemsWorking both in the workshop and at customer sitesResponding to customer breakdowns and service requirementsEnsuring work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescalesWhat we’re looking forPrevious experience as a
Service Engineer, Agricultural Engineer, Plant Engineer or Heavy Machinery EngineerStrong experience working with
agricultural or heavy engineering machineryExtensive
hydraulic and diagnostic experience
– this is a key part of the roleGood electrical fault-finding ability, including
12V/24V systemsA mechanical or electrical engineering qualification such as
BTEC , or equivalent practical experienceThe ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a teamA customer-focused approach when working on client sitesWhat you’ll receive in returnCompetitive salaryOvertime availableMonday-Friday,
