Compliance Managern  Gloucestern Hybrid (3 days in office)

n I’m working with a growing legal business looking to appoint a Compliance Manager in Gloucester. This is a broad role covering SRA compliance, AML, data protection, complaints and quality assurance, with direct access to the Managing Directors and the opportunity to shape how compliance works across the business.

n It could suit an existing Compliance Manager or an experienced Senior Compliance Officer ready for a step up.

The Role?n You’ll be the central point of contact for compliance advice across the firm’s SRA-regulated businesses, supporting senior leaders and colleagues with practical guidance.

n ✔ Managing SRA regulatory compliance and internal policiesn ✔ Overseeing AML procedures, risk assessments and MLRO responsibilitiesn ✔ Managing GDPR and data protection requirementsn ✔ Conducting file reviews, compliance audits and quality assurancen ✔ Handling complaints and identifying improvementsn ✔ Supporting CQS accreditation and lender panel requirementsn ✔ Coordinating insurance renewals and managing associated risksn ✔ Supporting corporate governance and Companies House obligationsn ✔ Delivering compliance training across the business

About You?

• Experience in compliance or risk within an SRA-regulated law firm.

n

• Good knowledge of SRA regulations, AML and data protection.

n

• Experience with file reviews, complaints and CQS requirements.

n

• Confident advising senior leaders and colleagues.

n

• Organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities.

n

• Strong attention to detail.
