Job Description

n Warehouse Operativen Glasgown Monday to Friday 15.30pm to 19.30pm£13.02 per hourn n n Pertemps in conjunction with our client is recruiting a warehouse operator based in Glasgow. This is a hands-on role, working directly with secure, custom cleared shipmentsn n  Key Responsibilitiesn

n
• Ensure materials and shipments are processed and loaded into vehicles in a precise, safe and time efficient manner

n

• Scan and distribute material within the service centre in line with Global Operating Procedures, ensuring adherence to legislative health, safety and security policies and standards

n

• Precise and careful handling of shipments

n

• Working to tight timeframes and deadlines

n

• Demonstrating excellent team work to meet SLAs

n

• Ensure all actions are completed quickly and efficiently

n

• Maintain a high level of attention to detail

n

• Manual lifting of shipments is required

n

• Plan and prepare working practices ensuring maximum efficiency

n

• Ensure warehouse is left in a clean and tidy condition after end of shift

n

• Adhere to legislation including Health and Safety, Working Time Directive regulations etc.

n

• Provide administrative and operational tasks, necessary to ensure the correct functioning of the Service Centre.

n

• Adhere to customs / import / export procedures

n
