As a Senior Data Scientist at Faculty, you will steer high-impact AI projects and define the data science approach, combining hands-on coding with team leadership. You’ll design robust software architectures, mentor juniors, and secure delivery rigor while building strong client relationships. Responsibilities

• Lead project teams delivering bespoke algorithms and high-stakes AI solutions for clients
• Define core data science approaches and design robust software architecture for engagements
• Mentor data scientists and support technical growth within the team
• Partner with commercial teams to shape project scope and ensure technical feasibility
• Contribute to thought leadership through courses, public speaking, or open-source projects
• Ensure best practices across project lifecycles for high-quality delivery

Key requirements

• Senior experience in data science or quantitative academia
• Fluent Python programming (NumPy, Pandas) and deep-learning framework (PyTorch)
• Deep expertise in supervised/unsupervised learning, NLP, validation
• Leadership mindset with focus on growing technical capabilities and collaboration
• Commercial awareness with client-facing experience and ability to translate business problems into rigorous math
