Senior Data Analyst – Enterprise Risk

Overview

As Senior Data Analyst in Enterprise Risk, you will help transform risk data into reliable metrics and actionable reporting. You will partner with risk owners across Credit, Fraud, AML, and operations to define needs and deliver practical data solutions. You’ll modernise risk reporting with AI-enabled workflows while ensuring data quality, traceability and effective governance. This role sits at the heart of ERMF, shaping how risk is monitored and reported to support informed decisions and proactive risk management.

Responsibilities

• Develop risk data and repeatable KRIs across multiple risk categories
• Partner with risk stakeholders to translate needs into analytical solutions
• Analyse and monitor risk indicators using SQL and Python to identify trends
• Define and calibrate KRIs and thresholds with data quality validation
• Build dashboards and monthly ERMF reporting using Tableau or Power BI
• Automate risk reporting with AI-enabled workflows and external signals
• Develop early-warning capabilities to spot emerging risks with evidence
• Support ERMF governance by translating requirements into data and workflow specs
• Improve data quality, lineage, validation checks and reporting explainability
• Drive continuous improvement of risk reporting and analytics processes

Key requirements

• Experience in data analytics or risk analytics within a risk function (enterprise/operational/credit/fraud/financial crime)
• Practical understanding of how risk is identified, assessed and monitored including KRIs and thresholds
• Strong business partnering skills with non-technical stakeholders
• Working knowledge of SQL and Python for data analysis and automation
• Experience building dashboards with Tableau/Power BI
• Analytical judgement and ability to challenge assumptions and communicate findings
• Experience integrating data from multiple sources and ensuring usability of outputs
• Hands-on curiosity about AI models and AI-enabled workflow automation
