Programme Manager

Overview

In this role you drive and support improvements within the Cost Improvement Programme in a complex NHS environment. You will partner with divisional teams to develop and deliver CIP schemes, ensure strong governance, and translate complex financial data into clear insights for diverse stakeholders. Responsibilities

• Support teams to develop and deliver CIP schemes
• Maintain governance across CIP schemes
• Collaborate with stakeholders to manage creation and delivery of schemes
• Demonstrate strong project management skills and NHS finance knowledge
• Analyse and present complex financial data clearly
• Work with divisional colleagues through effective interpersonal skills

Key requirements

• Master’s degree in a project management / service improvement field
• Project / programme management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, MSP)
• Demonstrable experience coordinating projects in complex environments
• Track record of leading transformational change in a complex organisation
• Experience in leading, challenging and performance managing teams
• Budgetary management experience with financial control and savings targets
• Significant experience of the NHS operational environment, patient care and clinical safety and quality
• Ability to present complex information to varied audiences
• Ability to use data to inform recommendations on project issues
