We’re looking to speak with an experienced Freight Forwarder who can manage import and export shipments across air, ocean and road freight.

This is a varied, start-to-finish role for someone confident coordinating shipments, keeping customers informed and ensuring freight moves smoothly from booking through to delivery.

• Manage air, ocean and road freight shipments from start to finish
• Coordinate import and export bookings with customers, carriers and overseas agents
• Prepare and process shipping and customs documentation
• Arrange collections, deliveries and transport with hauliers and carriers
• Track shipments and keep customers updated on progress
• Obtain quotations, check rates and support customers with pricing
• Resolve delays, shipment queries and day-to-day operational issues
• Maintain accurate shipment records and ensure files are completed correctly
• Build strong working relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues

About you

• Previous experience in a freight forwarding role
• Knowledge of air, ocean and road freight operations
• Experience handling both imports and exports
• Confident managing shipments independently from booking to delivery
• Organised, customer-focused and able to manage changing priorities
• Comfortable communicating with customers, carriers and overseas agents
