P3M Data & Reporting Lead- London, Manchester, Birmingham

Overview

In this role you will lead the design and delivery of data-driven reporting and controls within P3M for infrastructure programmes. You will work with senior stakeholders to shape reporting strategy and translate needs into actionable dashboards. You will build advanced dashboards using Power BI and Excel, integrate data from multiple sources, and establish scalable data models. You will mentor junior colleagues and contribute to digital capability and best practices within the Infrastructure Digital team.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of data-driven solutions aligned to P3M frameworks
• Define reporting strategies with senior stakeholders and translate requirements into actionable solutions
• Design and build advanced dashboards using Microsoft Power BI, Excel, and related platforms
• Oversee data integration from multiple systems ensuring accuracy and performance
• Develop scalable data models and structures to support enterprise-level reporting
• Provide guidance on data quality, governance, and reporting best practices
• Mentor and develop junior consultants and foster team capability
• Contribute to thought leadership, innovation, and continuous improvement in digital services

Key requirements

• 5+ years in data/reporting analyst roles in project or programme environments
• Strong understanding of P3M principles and project controls methodologies
• Analytical and numeracy skills with ability to present data effectively
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI and Excel (macros and automation)
• Experience designing and implementing data models and reporting frameworks
• Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and translate needs into technical solutions
• Strong communication and presentation skills for executive audiences
• Experience leading work packages and mentoring junior colleagues
