Summary
- Graduate of an accredited school of Advanced Practice Nursing, licensed in the State of Florida and has demonstrated clinical and teaching expertise.
- Possesses strong decision-making and clinical skills with the ability to assess the comprehensive health needs of their patient population.
- The APRN is to provide prenatal, postpartum, and gynecological medical services to the patients at Suncoast Community Health Center of Plant City, Dover and Thonotosassa.
- This is a clinic position. Duties include prenatal/postpartum care, gynecology, and family planning.
- APRN to perform IUD/Nexplanon insertion and pap smears.
- APRN is required to participate in chart audits to assess the success of the QA/QI/Risk program.
- Must be able to work with patients and staff from a wide range of ethnic, economic, cultural, and social backgrounds.
Education
- Masters Degree in Nursing
Credentials
- APRN License
Experience
- 4 years of APRN experience including at least 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing
- Colposcopy and Extensive Family Planning Experience required
- 1 year in a Supervisory Role in a related field –
