TheRole
We arelooking for a Project Engineer ‘Senior Authorised Person(SAP)’ to support the operationaldelivery of HV and LV installations for some of the UK’sbiggest rollout of Electric Vehicle (EV), Renewables andI&C projects, along with directresponsibility for the works carried out by the junior teammembers.
You’llbe responsible for ensuringall electricity networks are installed in a safe andprofessional manner and to a high standard in line withSinewave safe working practises.
Anidea of what you’ll deoing:
- You’llbe working with some of the biggest low carbon projects in theUK
- You’llmanage and supervise all site personnel working on HV& LV networks.
- You’llassist in the testing and commissioning of HV/LVdistribution systems.
- Youwill plan and co-ordinate projects and fault responsecallouts.
- You’llassist in the training and development of Sinewavecolleagues wishing to become an LV AP or HVAP.
- Youwill carry out audits, produce reports for worksundertaken and manage project budgets to ensure teamefficiency.
- Actas a Standby Engineer for our extensive O&M portfoliowith over 2000 sites across theUK.
Requirements
When youjoin you will go through our top-notch inductionand onboarding process and have opportunities todevelop further through our in house trainingacademy.
You’ll have a proven track record of:
- Assessing potentiallyhazardous and dangerous situations, taking appropriateaction to ensure the safety of personnel, other siteoperatives
- Undertaking site specificrisk assessments and creating RAMS, and competent issuin and cancelling safetydocuments.
- Ensuringpersonnel and your wider team understand duties undersafetydocuments.
- Carryingout network operations under instruction from theNetwork ControlEngineer.
- Understanding the localnetwork anomalies and ensuring correct phaserotation.
You’ll already have experience & qualifications in:
- Currentlyhold (or have held) authorisations up to 33kV includingpermit to work (accepting 11KV with extensiveexperience).
- CSCS(affiliated).
- The useof Productivity and CollaborationSoftware such as Microsoft Office,Microsoft Teams, SharePoint etc. acrossmultiple platforms such as smart phones, tablets,laptopsetc.
- Full UKdriving license (Maximum of 3points).
