Backend Software Engineer

Role Details:

• 6 Months
• Hybrid in Manchester (around once p/week in office), can be remote for right candidates
• Outside IR35
• Circa £375 DOE
• ASAP Start

Essential Skills:

• Strong commercial Python engineering experience
• Experience building scalable backend or distributed systems
• Understanding of concurrency, asynchronous processing and performance optimisation
• Exposure to networking concepts, latency reduction or network optimisation
• Databricks experience
• Azure experience
• Experience working in real-time, streaming or event-driven environments would be highly beneficial
• Microsoft Graph (Desirable)
