About the Role
Our client, a leading mobile application development company based in East London , is seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer to conceptualize and craft intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing user experiences for their innovative suite of mobile products. This role is pivotal in ensuring our applications are not only functional but also delightful to use, driving user engagement and satisfaction. You will lead the design process from user research and wireframing to high-fidelity prototyping and final UI design, collaborating closely with product managers, developers, and marketing teams. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, a strong visual aesthetic, and a proven track record in designing successful mobile applications. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design process for mobile applications, from user research and information architecture to wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity UI design.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and market analysis to inform design decisions.
- Create intuitive user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts.
- Develop visually stunning and consistent UI designs that align with brand guidelines and enhance user engagement.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and stakeholders to define product requirements and translate them into compelling user experiences.
- Work hand-in-hand with front-end developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs and provide necessary assets.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback, analytics, and A/B testing results.
- Champion user-centered design principles and best practices across the organization.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in mobile UX/UI design.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to the overall design strategy of the company.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent extensive professional experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a significant focus on mobile applications (iOS and Android).
- A strong portfolio showcasing a range of successful mobile app designs and a clear understanding of user-centered design methodologies.
- Expert proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, or similar.
- Deep understanding of mobile usability principles, interaction design, and platform-specific design guidelines.
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and synthesizing findings into actionable design improvements.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- Strong understanding of front-end development principles and how designs are implemented.
- Experience with data analysis and using metrics to inform design decisions is a plus.
