We are seeking a dedicated HSE & Facilities Site Lead to join a leading FMCG organisation at one of its largest sites. In this influential role, you’ll oversee legal compliance, develop strategies, and foster a safety-first environment in a busy, complex operation with over 650 colleagues.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the site’s HSE strategy, policies, and procedures.
- Lead safety culture initiatives, engagement, and capability building across the site.
- Manage and develop the HSE and Facilities teams, ensuring high performance.
- Provide expert guidance on risk assessments, incident investigations, and compliance.
- Support major projects requiring HSE expertise, from planning through to execution.
The ideal candidate will have:
- NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 6 or equivalent HSE qualification.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing safety teams in manufacturing or FMCG environments.
- Good knowledge of UK health, safety, and environmental legislation.
- Proven ability to influence and motivate colleagues at all levels, with excellent communication skills.
