Group Financial Accountant

We’re partnering with a private equity-backed international business operating within the aerospace and aviation supply chain. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing finance function, taking ownership of statutory reporting, technical accounting and financial controls across a multi-entity Group, whilst supporting the business through its next phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of UK and Jersey statutory accounts
• Manage the statutory audit process, liaising with external auditors
• Oversee monthly management accounts and Group consolidations
• Prepare quarterly statutory reporting to the parent company
• Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and relevant accounting standards
• Oversee corporation tax, VAT compliance and financial reporting across international entities
• Strengthen financial controls, balance sheet reconciliations and audit readiness
• Support refinancing, due diligence and transaction-related accounting activities

Successful Candidate

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
• Big Four or top-tier accountancy practice trained preferred
• Strong statutory reporting and technical accounting experience
• Experience working within a multi-entity or Group environment
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, consolidations and financial controls
• Experience managing external audits and preparing statutory accounts
• Previous exposure to private equity-backed or international businesses advantageous
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Available immediately or at short notice
