We’re recruiting on behalf of a global gaming and entertainment group. AI is a genuine priority here, with a company-wide transformation programme reshaping how teams across product and technology work.
What the role involves
You’ll join a newly formed AI Transformation team in Manchester, working alongside an established AI R&D group. Teams across the business are experimenting with AI, with dozens of initiatives in flight. Your job is to turn the most promising of those into real, supported tools that people rely on every day.
That means working with teams to take their prototypes and make them production-grade, then spotting where shared capability makes more sense than one-off solutions. You’ll run experiments to prove what works, evaluate new tools and techniques, and help engineering teams build faster with AI.
What we’re looking for
- Software/Machine Learning engineering background
- Experience taking AI prototypes or internal tools into production
- Hands‑on experience building RAG pipelines, agentic workflows or other LLM applications
- Strong Python and/or TypeScript, and comfortable picking up the other
- Hands‑on AWS experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code and observability
- Experience building and using evals to measure model and system behaviour
- Confident running training, workshops or knowledge‑sharing sessions
- A self‑starter who owns problems end to end and enjoys working across the business.
- Experience building internal platforms is a bonus, but not essential.
Hybrid working, Manchester based, 2 days a week in the office.
