Senior Software Engineer, Document AI (Java/Python)

Elsevier is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build Document Intelligence capabilities for the Submission and Editorial platforms. You will develop services that transform unstructured manuscripts into structured data, enabling smarter submission and editorial experiences.

You will work with AWS, event-driven microservices, and AI/LLM capabilities to scale processing of millions of research documents while collaborating across engineering, data science, and product teams.
