Service Care Solutions are recruiting for General Practitioners (GPs) to support Primary Care Centre’s, Urgent Treatment Centres and Same Day Urgent Care (SDUC) Centres within the Greater Manchester and Lancashire areas

Location

Manchester, Preston, Oldham, Chorley.

Contract

Locum contract | ongoing | flexible hours

Pay

£80 – 100 LTD per hour (Dependent on Service Worked)

Duties

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Practitioner to provide high-quality care within a primary care setting. The role involves a wide range of responsibilities, including:

• Conducting patient consultations, including physical examinations and history taking.
• Diagnosing and managing both acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Prescribing medications and managing repeat prescriptions.
• Ordering, reviewing, and interpreting diagnostic tests and investigations.
• Referring patients to appropriate secondary care or specialist services when required.
• Promoting preventative care and providing health education to patients.
• Managing long-term health conditions such as diabetes, asthma, and hypertension.
• Maintaining comprehensive and accurate patient records using clinical systems.
