Immersum is partnering with an exciting, high growth sports technology business to hire a talented Platform Engineer to help power the next stage of its global platform.

  • Improve monitoring, observability and platform reliability

  • Modernise legacy infrastructure and bring it under Infrastructure as Code

  • Work closely with software engineers to improve deployment workflows and remove technical blockers

  • Help optimise the performance, resilience and security of a globally distributed platform

What they’re looking for:

  • Strong commercial experience working with AWS in production

  • A STEM-based degree from a Russell Group university

  • Hands-on Terraform/OpenTofu and Infrastructure as Code experience

  • Practical experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines

  • Python or similar scripting experience

  • Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana or CloudWatch

  • A strong security mindset and understanding of DevSecOps principles

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a genuine desire to take ownership

Why consider it?

You’ll be joining a growing sports technology business where engineering is central to the product. With a complex, multi-region AWS environment and plenty of scope to improve security, automation and infrastructure at scale, this is an opportunity to take on meaningful technical challenges and make your mark on a critical platform.
