The Role
As a Principal Electrical Engineer, youll act as both a Project Lead and a senior technical authority across multiple projects. Youll be responsible for leading electrical design delivery, managing client relationships, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and mentoring junior engineers.
Key responsibilities
- Leading electrical building services designs from concept through to delivery
- Managing project programmes, resources and fees
- Acting as the primary point of contact for clients and external design teams
- Coordinating multidisciplinary project teams
- Producing and reviewing calculations, specifications and technical reports
- Mentoring and developing engineers across the business
- Supporting repeat business and long-term client relationships
About You
- Degree qualified in Electrical, Building Services or a related engineering discipline
- Chartered (or working towards Chartership) through CIBSE or IET
- Strong Building Services consultancy experience
- Proven track record leading projects and managing clientsExperience using Revit, AutoCAD and BIM workflows
- Passion for sustainable, low-energy building design
- Strong leadership, communication and project management skills
