Looking for your next step in payroll leadership? This is an exciting opportunity to join an established, multi-site retail business and take ownership of a complex, multi-country payroll function.
The business is looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee payroll for 4,000+ employees across the UK, Channel Islands and Republic of Ireland, while leading a team and driving improvements to payroll processes and systems.
- Overseeing three end-to-end payrolls across the UK, Channel Islands and ROI.
- Ensuring accurate, timely and compliant payroll delivery for 4,000+ employees.
- Leading, coaching and developing the payroll team.
- Managing payroll systems and driving process improvements.
- Overseeing PSA, P11D, payrolled benefits and gender pay reporting.
- Supporting employee benefits and reward initiatives.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant payroll and employment legislation.
- At least two years’ payroll management experience.
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and compliance.
- Experience with benefits reporting, PSA and gender pay calculations.
- Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
- Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
