Are you a Design Engineer or Mechanical Design Engineer looking to work on next-generation diesel engine aftertreatment systems, taking products from concept through to production within a high-tech, global engineering environment?

On offer is an exciting 12-month contract (with potential extension) supporting New Product Introduction programmes, where you will play a key part in delivering robust emissions solutions alongside international engineering teams and key suppliers.

You will join a well- established, global manufacturer with a major UK presence and a strong reputation for engineering excellence, quality and long-term investment in their people and technology. Due to continued project demand, they are now looking to add an additional Design Engineer to their specialist team.

The Role:

  • Design and develop aftertreatment system components and assemblies using Creo CAD
  • Produce and maintain engineering drawings, specifications and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Apply GD&T and support DFMEA, validation and verification activities
  • Manage engineering data and documentation within Teamcenter
  • On-site role, 5 days per week, 40 hours per week, 12-month contract (potential extension)

The Person:

  • Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering / Automotive Engineering (or related discipline)
  • Strong mechanical design engineering background with Creo (or similar 3D CAD)
  • Experience producing drawings / technical documentation, BOMs and applying GD&T

We are an equal opportunities company and welcome applications from all suitable candidates.
