Overview

As a Mobile Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer, you will service, diagnose, and repair vehicle refrigeration and AC systems across the Midlands. You’ll work remotely, ensuring timely service delivery and professional customer interactions on every job. The role supports apprentices and contributes to safe, compliant operations while maintaining high service standards. Responsibilities

• Managing van stock to ensure efficient service delivery
• Completing daily safety checks on the company vehicle
• Liaising with management regarding job scheduling, downtime, and customer orders
• Accurately completing paperwork and digital job records for invoicing and compliance
• Supporting apprentices or trainee engineers when required
• Maintaining excellent customer service and representing the company professionally

Key requirements

• Experience in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, or Mechanical Engineering
• F-Gas certification
• C&G qualification or equivalent in an Engineering discipline
• IT literacy including Microsoft Office and handheld PDA systems
• Strong customer service and communication skills
