Quantity Surveyor

Overview

You will drive the commercial management of specialist healthcare Design & Build projects nationwide. In this role you support contract negotiation, cost control, and profitability, working closely with directors and cross-functional teams. You help secure larger contracts while delivering technically challenging hospital refurbishments, new builds, and MRI installations. This is a reputable, growth-minded firm where your impact shapes project outcomes and long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial aspects of Design & Build healthcare projects
• Negotiate contracts and support legal reviews
• Produce cost reports and monitor project financial performance
• Collaborate with Directors, buyers and accounts teams
• Assist with project quotations and tender pricing
• Support delivery of hospital refurbishment and new build projects
• Office-based role with occasional nationwide site visits

Key requirements

• Quantity Surveying experience
• Commercial and contract negotiation skills
• Client-facing with excellent stakeholder management
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and legislation
