Hedge Fund Accountant

Overview

In this Hedge Fund Accountant role, you support the accounting and control framework for a growth‑oriented alternative investment firm with over $2bn AUM. You will prepare month‑end NAVs, fund performance reports and cash flow predictions, while coordinating audits and regulatory reporting. You’ll influence the function through timely, accurate reporting and involvement in initiatives like fund launches. The position offers exposure to cross‑functional teams and external auditors within a high‑performance, long‑term focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Prepare month‑end Net Asset Values (NAVs) and fund performance reports
• Report predicted cash flows
• Manage the audit process with external auditors
• Prepare performance fee and tax calculations
• Assist with monthly regulatory reporting
• Prepare board packs for senior management
• Monitor procedures and resolve any issues
• Participate in ad hoc duties such as fund launches

Key requirements

• Qualified accountant with Fund Accounting, Fund Audit or Product Control experience
• Experience in Hedge Funds, Investment Banks or Fund Administrators
• Excellent communication skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks
