Who We Are

Yellowball is a boutique web, SEO, and PPC agency, trusted by businesses of all sizes to deliver world-class digital experiences. We’re commercial, creative, and highly entrepreneurial – helping brands rank higher, grow faster, and drive real ROI.

With a team based in London, South Africa, and remotely across the world, we’re scaling fast and looking for exceptional talent to grow with us.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a Senior SEO Manager with at least 5 years of SEO experience (including 2-3 years agency side, or comparable experience), a deep passion for SEO, and a proven track record of delivering results. You’ll fully manage multiple end-to-end SEO and GEO campaigns, lead and develop a small team of SEO Managers and Executives, and drive strategies that increase rankings, traffic, AI search visibility and revenue for our clients.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Fully managing multiple SEO and GEO client campaigns from strategy to execution, ensuring measurable commercial impact
  • Managing client relationships, presenting insights, and ensuring seamless communication
  • Conducting technical SEO audits, prioritising fixes, and collaborating with developers
  • Developing and overseeing content strategies that drive organic growth and AI search visibility
  • Identifying high-value keyword opportunities through market research and competitor analysis
  • Analysing data to track performance and refine strategies for continuous improvement
  • Line managing and mentoring an SEO Executive, supporting their development through regular 1:1s and Professional Development Plans
  • Supporting a key internal project, such as client success, templating, training or AI, to improve how the team works
  • Sharing knowledge to upskill the team and representing Yellowball externally as an ambassador for the brand

What You’ll Need

  • Expert knowledge of technical, onsite, and offsite SEO best practices, with the ability to spot the strategic priorities that drive results
  • Experience with SEMRush, Screaming Frog, GA4 and creating Looker Studio reports
  • Experience with using WordPress as a CMS
  • Minimum of five years’ SEO experience leading successful campaigns and line managing or mentoring team members. At least 2-3 of the last 5 years should have been spent agency side, or you should be able to demonstrate comparable experience that matches the pace and demands of an agency role.
  • Data-driven mindset with a focus on performance and commercial impact
  • Confidence leading strategic conversations with senior client stakeholders
  • Ability to develop and manage content strategies, including GEO best practices
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills to juggle multiple projects
  • Adaptability to work across different industries and client needs
  • Experience using AI (such as Claude) in your daily workflows is a plus, but not essential.
