Veritas Education is recruiting a Year 5 Class Teacher for a primary school in Ramsbottom, starting in January 2027.
The position is initially for two terms, with the possibility of transferring onto a school contract for the right candidate. Applications are warmly welcomed from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a Year 5 class, deliver engaging lessons and help pupils develop the confidence, independence and skills they need as they progress through Key Stage 2.
The role
Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Year 5 curriculum.
Adapt teaching to support and challenge pupils of all abilities.
Assess progress and use findings to inform future learning.
Create a positive classroom environment with clear routines and high expectations.
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
We are looking for someone who has
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
A sound understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
An enthusiastic, creative approach to teaching.
Strong classroom management and a commitment to inclusion.
