Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to work with our NHS client. This is an excellent opportunity for a specialist physiotherapist to provide high-quality assessment, diagnosis and evidence-based treatment to patients with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.

The role is for 8 weeks, working 30 hours per week across 4 days.

Job Role

• Undertake comprehensive clinical assessments and differential diagnoses for patients with musculoskeletal conditions.
• Deliver evidence-based treatment and rehabilitation interventions.
• Independently manage a varied musculoskeletal caseload.
• Identify red flags and take appropriate action where required.
• Develop individualised rehabilitation programmes tailored to patients’ needs.
• Make appropriate onward referrals to other healthcare professionals or services.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support effective patient care.

Essential for the role

• Current HCPC registration.
• Experience as a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist.
• Strong clinical assessment and differential diagnosis skills.
• Experience delivering evidence-based treatment for musculoskeletal conditions.
• Ability to independently manage a varied MSK caseload.
• Competence in identifying red flags and making appropriate onward referrals.
• Ability to develop individualised rehabilitation programmes.
• Excellent communication, clinical reasoning and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Availability to work 30 hours per week across 4 days for 8 weeks.
