Gas Service & Repair Engineer – Oldham
Salary: £35,875 –£42,000 per annum, depending on experience
Location: Oldham (Covering OL1-0L9 postcode areas)
Contract: Permanent, PAYE
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (with on-call requirements)
On-Call: 1 in 4 weeks
Holiday: 20 days plus bank holidays (increases with service)
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Gas Service & Repair Engineer to join an established heating and maintenance team covering OL1-0L9 areas.

Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out gas servicing and planned maintenance across domestic properties.
- Diagnosing faults and completing boiler breakdowns and repairs.
- Identifying and resolving heating and hot water issues efficiently.
- Ensuring all work complies with Gas Safe regulations and relevant industry standards.
- Providing excellent customer service when working with tenants and clients.
- Completing all required paperwork, service records and compliance documentation.
- Updating job progress accurately using electronic systems.
- Participating in the on-call rota, currently 1 in 4 weeks.
Requirements
- Previous experience in domestic gas servicing, maintenance and repairs.
- Valid ACS qualifications, including CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1 and CKR1.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong knowledge of gas safety regulations and industry standards.
- Ability to diagnose faults and work independently.
- A professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.
