Job Details

• Pay: £17.50 to £21.54 per hour (depending on experience)
• Location: Hixon, Stafford (ST18)
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm
• Contract: Full-time, temp to perm
• Shifts: Days only, no weekendsPay Frequency: Weekly

The Role

• Creating and updating electrical CAD drawings and designs
• Designing wiring harnesses, cable looms and electrical systems
• Producing wiring diagrams, electrical schematics and manufacturing drawings
• Preparing Bills of Materials (BOMs), wire lists and technical documentation
• Working from customer specifications and existing technical drawings
• Updating designs and drawings when required
• Working with engineers and production teams to ensure drawings are suitable for manufacturing

Essential Requirements

• Experience using electrical CAD software such as Rapid Harness, AutoCAD Electrical, Zuken E3 or similar
• Experience producing electrical drawings, wiring diagrams or schematics
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Good attention to detail and technical understanding

Desirable Experience

• Wiring harness or cable loom design
• Vehicle electrical systems
• Electrical manufacturing, automotive or engineering environments
