Attendance & Education Welfare Lead

Middlesbrough Council is seeking an Education Welfare Officer to join the Access to Education team. You will lead on improving attendance, ensuring children are at school every day, on time and ready to learn, and work with schools and a range of stakeholders to provide a comprehensive service.

The role involves reporting progress against KPIs, supporting staff in schools, and facilitating safeguarding and statutory requirements. Training will be provided, and an enhanced DBS check is required.
