I am managing a Search for a Partner to build and lead the Energy practice at a respected international consultancy specialising in procurement and supply chain optimisation.
The firm:
A boutique-led consultancy with an international client base. It is known for delivering measurable savings, resilient supply chains and procurement transformation for complex, asset-heavy organisations.
The role:
You will own the Energy practice: strategy, P&L, client relationships and the team. You will set the direction of the offering, win and lead major engagements, and develop the next generation of consultants and directors.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and grow the Energy practice across the UK and international markets
- Originate new business and deepen relationships with senior client stakeholders
- Direct delivery of procurement, sourcing and supply chain programmes for energy clients
- Shape thought leadership and the firm’s market positioning in the sector
- Coach, develop and retain high-calibre consulting talent
Requirements:
- Partner-level or equivalent experience in a consulting firm, ideally a boutique or mid-size practice
- Deep procurement and supply chain expertise, with credible sector knowledge across energy, utilities, oil and gas, power or renewables
- A track record of bringing clients with you, backed by an established network of senior buyers and decision-makers
- Commercial instinct, the confidence to lead from the front and the presence to advise at board level
- UK-based, with willingness to work internationally
This is a rare chance to lead a practice rather than join one. You will have the autonomy to shape its direction, the backing of an established brand and a seat at the partnership table.
