HGV Class 2 Driver (ADR)Working Hours / Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday (Start times vary between 4-8am) (No weekend work)Main purpose of the role:Daily activity will include servicing the transport needs of the business, both planned and reactive; ensuring all work is undertaken to a high standard and in a safe and compliant way delivering customer satisfaction.Occasional nights out.Duties/ResponsibilitiesCollecting hazardous and non hazardous waste and packaging all over the UKSafe Loading, securing and distribution of vehicle in line with legislationIdentifing and Labelling of waste containers in line with ADR regulationsObserve and identify non-compliant and unsafe loads in line with ADR regulationsComply with road safety and legislationHandling of heavy packages with appropriate manual handling equipment when requiredDaily walk around checks in line with legislation & company procedureTachograph management inline with legislationLiaison with Site Managers as necessary.Accurate administration of daily paperwork.Incident reporting in line with company proceduresThe job holder will undertake all mandatory training required for the role to fit with the needs of the business.To work on other vehicle types as and when requiredEssential Skills:HGV C licenceDriver CPC and Digi-cardADR licence (training can be given)Ability to work away from home for the working weekAbility to meet targets and complete tasks in a timely and safe mannerA commitment to quality and exceeding expectationsAbility to work as a team and on own initiativeDesirable Skills:Forklift licenceExperience in waste logisticsCompetitive salary
