Health & Safety Advisor
to join their team.This full-time permanent role will be
based in Fareham.
Paying up to
£50,000
plus some fantastic benefits, this is not an opportunity to be missed.The role:Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you will provide practical Health & Safety advice, ensure regulatory compliance and continually develop the organisation’s approach to safe and sustainable working.Key responsibilities:Provide expert Health & Safety advice across business operations and customer projectsMaintain an up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and industry best practiceEngage with stakeholders across the business to promote compliance and a positive safety cultureLead investigations into Health & Safety incidents, identifying root causes and appropriate corrective actionsImplement practical preventative and remedial measures to improve safe working practicesEnsure training and procedures remain aligned with legislation, industry best practice and relevant accreditation requirementsMaintain occupational Health & Safety and environmental management systemsUndertake audits and inspections, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring appropriate actions are completedThe ideal candidate:Previous Health & Safety experience within an engineering or manufacturing environmentNEBOSH qualifiedIOSH or IIRSM membership/qualificationStrong knowledge and understanding of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001Experience writing and reviewing Health & Safety policies and proceduresProven experience conducting incident investigations and producing reportsStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence at all levelsComfortable challenging existing practices and introducing new ways of workingStrong IT skills, including Microsoft OfficeWillingness to travel to customer sites when requiredDue to the nature of the organisation and its projects,
