We are Fantails Restaurant, an independent family run restaurant based in a small village of Wetheral. Well established after 31 years, we are looking to take our business to the next level with a solid reliable team around us .
We are small outlet with a great outside area but big on making sure we cater for our customers: from our loyal local clientele to visiting contractors & tourists, who often return year on year.
We are proud of our focus on delivering fresh local produce well, allowing our chefs to show case their passion and capability each day.
We now have a great opportunity for a head chef who shares our values; someone keen to operate a well established kitchen focusing on all aspects – great menus, amazing food, a flair for inspiring and managing people and the experience and knowledge to ensure our processes and procedures continue to tick all of the required boxes.
This head chef position will be expected to manage their own team, and train any new members that come along.
We have made our hours as appealing as possible that the hospitality trade will allow. Closed Monday & Tuesday, 10am start Wednesday, 12pm start Thursday, Friday, Saturday, lunch service only on a Sunday.
