As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be:Cleaning designated areas, ensuring they are kept tidy, hygienic, and welcomingCarrying out housekeeping duties within residents’ homes with care and discretionMaintaining communal areas so they are consistently neat, tidy, and well presentedCleaning floors, including vacuuming, shampooing carpets, and polishing furniture and woodworkEmptying and relining waste bins, following correct disposal proceduresCleaning windows and glass surfaces within reachCarrying out laundry duties efficiently and to a high standardAdhering to COSHH regulations and maintaining a safe working environment at all timesKey Requirements
Previous experience working as a Housekeeping Assistant, Housekeeper, or CleanerSelf-motivated, personable, and able to communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, and visitorsFlexible and adaptable, with a willingness to respond to changing priorities and shift patternsA basic understanding of infection control, COSHH, and compliance standards is desirable, though full training will be providedThe Benefits
