You’ll join a fast-growing, well-backed fintech in London, and their customers are some of the biggest names in financial services.
AI sits right at the heart of what they sell, and they’re now hiring a Head of AI to take it to the next level.
The title says Head of, but this isn’t a role where you sit in meetings and manage people all day.
It’s for someone who’s genuinely happy being hands‑on as an individual contributor, building agentic AI themselves, while also being the person who sets the AI direction for the business.
- Building fully agentic systems: agents, tool use, RAG, evals, all on real financial data
- Setting the AI strategy and roadmap, and deciding what gets built next
- Working closely with the leadership team, clients and data partners, and explaining what AI can do in plain English
There’s no rigid roadmap handed to you. You’d shape a big part of it, then go and build it.
You’ll ideally have:
- Built and shipped agentic AI / LLM products into production
- A background in credit modelling, credit risk or credit analytics, ideally in fintech or financial data (not banking or payments)
- A strategic head and real confidence with senior stakeholders
- Happy to be hands‑on, not looking to manage a big team
It doesn’t matter if you came up through software engineering or data science.
And if you code with AI tools like Claude Code or Cursor, great, as long as you fully understand and can explain every line.
A background in credit modelling, credit risk or credit analytics, ideally in fintech or financial data (not banking or payments) is a must for this role.
