Network Engineer

Network Engineer – Low Latency Infrastructure – £115,000

A leading global investment manager is looking to hire a Network Engineer to join its Platform Engineering team, supporting the high-performance infrastructure that powers trading and research systems.

This is a hands-on role focused on designing and operating data centre and cloud network infrastructure, working with modern automation and software-driven networking practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate scalable network infrastructure across data centres and cloud




• Deliver Layer 2/3 architectures including BGP, OSPF, EVPN and VXLAN




• Automate network operations using Python, Ansible and Terraform




• Troubleshoot performance issues using packet analysis tools

Requirements

• Strong experience with Arista or Cisco networking platforms




• Expertise in BGP, OSPF and data centre networking




• Experience with Palo Alto or similar firewalls




• Strong troubleshooting and packet analysis skills
