Customer Project Manager (Healthcare IT)
Rate: £400.00 – £435.00 per day (Inside IR35)Location: Remote (UK) with occasional travel to customer sites as requiredClearance Required: BPSS
The Opportunity
We’re seeking an experienced Customer Project Manager to lead the delivery of healthcare IT implementation projects across complex healthcare environments.
This is a customer-facing role where you’ll take ownership of project delivery, managing stakeholders, governance, budgets, risks, and implementation activities from initiation through to go-live and operational handover.
Essential Skills & Experience
- 6+ years’ experience delivering customer-facing healthcare IT projects.
- Proven delivery experience across:
- PACS
- RIS
- VNA
- Digital Pathology
- Medical Imaging or Healthcare Informatics solutions
- Strong understanding of radiology workflows and healthcare operations.
- Experience managing project budgets, forecasting, change control, and governance.
- Experience leading steering committees, RAID management, and executive reporting.
- Ability to manage clinical, operational, technical, supplier, and executive stakeholders.
- Experience delivering projects from planning through go-live, hypercare, and service transition.
- PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent project management experience.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required.
Desirable Skills
- Experience delivering healthcare imaging solutions.
- Knowledge of healthcare governance, procurement, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with cloud-hosted healthcare solutions.
- Experience managing imaging migrations, platform consolidations, or managed service transitions.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
