Quantity Surveyor – Civil Engineering / Water Infrastructure

Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 starting salary + package

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a leading civil engineering contractor based in London, working across a major Civils scheme.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established contractor with a strong pipeline of long-term work and opportunities for career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the commercial aspects of civil engineering projects.
• Administer NEC3/NEC4 contracts.
• Prepare monthly CVRs, cost forecasts and financial reports.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, valuations and payments.
• Identify and manage variations, early warnings and compensation events.
• Prepare applications for payment and negotiate final accounts.
• Monitor project budgets, costs and commercial risks.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers and site teams.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of NEC3/NEC4 contracts.
• Experience managing subcontractor accounts and CVRs.
• Good commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Experience working for a main contractor or civil engineering subcontractor preferred.
