Senior Adult Social Care Solicitor

Service Care Solutions is working with a supportive local authority, based in Norfolk, which is seeking an experienced Senior Adult Social Care Solicitor to join its legal team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified solicitor with comprehensive experience across adult social care law. Umbrella Rate: £60-£65 per hour PAYE Inc. Rate : £52.51 – £56.86 per hour. Location: Norfolk – Remote Working. Hours: 15 hours per week, Thursdays & Fridays.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a varied and complex adult social care legal caseload from start to completion.
• Line manage team members through allocating work and resources to meet client timescales, developing staff skills, and ensuring work is done at the correct level of expertise.
• Provide advocacy in the Court of Protection, Coroner’s Inquests, Public Inquiries, and other venues as required.

Requirements

• A qualified Solicitor (must have a current practicing certificate) with strong experience across all areas of adult social care law.
• Proven ability to manage a complex caseload independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience providing advice to a local authority or similar public sector organisation.
• Ability to supervise and support other members of the legal team.
