Children’s Social Worker Salford – Key Responsibilities

• Managing child protection cases, including Child Protection (CP) and Child in Need (CIN) cases
• Conducting thorough assessments to safeguard vulnerable children and young people
• Developing and implementing case plans in collaboration with families, schools, and other agencies
• Attending court hearings and producing detailed reports
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with legal and organizational procedures
• Liaising effectively with external agencies to promote the welfare of children and young people
• Adhering to all safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety of children

Children’s Social Worker Salford – Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Social Worker in a Children’s Services setting
• Strong knowledge of child protection, CIN, and safeguarding procedures
• Relevant qualifications in social work registration and compliance
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle complex cases
• Clearance regarding gaps in employment history and references
• Ability to complete the DfE Recommendation Compliance Questions accurately
