Technical Support Engineer

Are you a hands-on engineer with strong hydraulic, electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills?

We’re looking for a Technical Support Engineer to support the installation, maintenance and performance of heavy industrial machinery, working with customers, service engineers and international partners.

What you’ll be doing:

• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
• Carry out on-site repairs, commissioning and technical support.
• Plan and coordinate machinery installations.
• Train and support internal engineers and international service partners.
• Travel to customer sites in the UK
• Work with engineering teams to identify recurring issues and improve equipment reliability.

What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years’ experience working with industrial or heavy machinery.
• Strong hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting skills, including PLCs.
• Experience with machinery installations and commissioning.
• A relevant engineering qualification or recognised apprenticeship.
• Full driving licence, valid passport and flexibility to travel.

Experience with balers, compactors, recycling or waste-management equipment would be a real advantage.
