Healthcare Support / Physical Care Specialist

SHIFTS

12-Hour Day & Night Rotas

COMPENSATION & RATES

• Enhanced Day Rate: £15.69 per hour
• Night Shift Rate: £18.72 per hour
• Sleep-In Shifts: Available following day shifts (additional pay)

SHIFT PATTERNS

• Day Shifts: 10:00 – 22:00 (12 Hours)
• Night Shifts: 22:00 – 10:00 (12 Hours)
• Sleep-Ins: Option to complete sleep-in shifts following long day shifts

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE

• Executing safe manual handling techniques
• Managing and overseeing PEG feeding protocols
• Prompt and accurate administration of medications
• Delivering personal and physical care tailored to patient needs

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Driving: Female drivers strongly preferred due to rural shift locations and shift timings.*
• Experience: Practical experience with PEG feeds, manual handling, and medication administration is required.
• Availability: Willingness to work 12-hour day or night shift patterns.
• *Occupational Requirement: Exemption claimed under Section 9, Part 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.
