Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: 18 hours per week
Contract: Permanent, part-time
Your role
Working alongside the home’s team, you will help keep The Shrubbery clean, safe and welcoming. Your duties will include:
- Cleaning residents’ rooms, bathrooms and communal areas with care and attention to detail.
- Following cleaning schedules and the home’s hygiene and infection prevention procedures.
- Using cleaning products and equipment safely, following training and guidance.
- Respecting residents’ privacy, dignity and personal belongings.
- Reporting maintenance issues, hazards and supplies that need replenishing.
- Working with colleagues and bringing a friendly, considerate approach to residents and visitors.
What you’ll bring
Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is welcome. We value a caring, reliable approach, pride in a job well done and a willingness to learn.
- A good eye for detail and a commitment to high standards.
- A friendly, respectful manner and clear communication.
- The ability to organise your work and work well as part of a team.
- A willingness to follow safe working practices and the home’s procedures.
