CNC Operator – 5 Axis Experience Required
Venatu Recruitment Group is currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Operator with 5 axis experience to join a leading manufacturer based in the LS13 area of Leeds.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, leading manufacturer recognised for producing high-quality products within its field.
We are looking for a skilled CNC Operator who has previous hands-on experience operating 5 axis CNC machinery and takes pride in producing precision components to exacting standards.

The Role – CNC Operator (5 Axis)
As a CNC Operator, you will play an important role in the manufacturing process, operating 5 axis CNC machinery to produce components and products to the highest possible standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating 5 axis CNC machinery to manufacture high-quality components in line with production requirements.
- Ensuring all products are manufactured accurately and consistently to the required specifications and tolerances.
- Monitoring machine performance and production output to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Carrying out quality checks and inspections throughout the manufacturing process.
- Identifying and reporting any faults, defects or inconsistencies with machinery or finished products.
- Following engineering drawings, work instructions and production specifications where required.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Following all company policies, health and safety procedures and quality control standards.
- Working effectively as part of a manufacturing team to achieve production targets and deadlines.
Essential Skills and Experience
To be considered for this CNC Operator position, you must have:
- Previous hands-on experience operating 5 axis CNC machinery.
- A strong understanding of CNC machining processes and precision manufacturing.
- Experience producing components to tight tolerances and high-quality standards.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining product quality.
- The ability to follow technical instructions and manufacturing procedures.
- A reliable, professional approach with a strong work ethic.
- The flexibility to work rotating shifts.
- Previous experience within a high-quality manufacturing or engineering environment would be highly advantageous.
Please note: Previous 5 axis CNC operating experience is essential for this position. Candidates without relevant experience may not be suitable.
Pay Rate and Working Hours
Pay rate starting at £15.00 per hour.
Monday to Friday rotating shifts:
- Early shift: 6:00am – 2:30pm
- Late shift: 2:00pm – 10:30pm
Temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.
