Dt Technician Needed At A Secondary School In Hackney

The Role

A high-performing secondary school in Hackney is looking for an experienced DT Technician to support its busy Design & Technology department.

You’ll help prepare practical lessons, maintain workshop equipment and make sure students have the materials they need for their projects.

Your duties will include:

• Preparing tools, materials and equipment for lessons.




• Checking machinery and reporting faults.




• Keeping workshops clean, tidy and safe.




• Managing stock and storing materials correctly.




• Supporting teachers with practical activities.




• Following health and safety procedures.

About You

You’ll be practical, organised and confident working with tools and machinery. Previous DT Technician or workshop experience would be an advantage.
