MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician – Cheltenham

• Carry out MOT testing on Class 4, 5 and 7 vehicles, where authorised
• Service, maintain and repair cars and light commercial vehicles (LCV)
• Complete MOT preparation, repairs and rectification work
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment
• Carry out cambelt, clutch and general mechanical repairs
• Attend vehicle breakdowns when required
• Complete accurate job cards, MOT records and workshop documentation
• Minimum 3 years’ qualified experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician or Motor Vehicle Technician
• Level 2, Level 3 or Level 4 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
• Class 4, 5 and 7 MOT testing authorisation desirable
• Experience servicing and repairing cars and light commercial vehicles
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Right to work in the UK

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 Basic (depending on experience and qualifications)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm
