Triumph Consultants are looking for an experienced Environmental Health Enforcement Officer to join their client’s Food and Health & Safety Team, covering food safety, health and safety, and infectious disease control. This is a 36-hour-per-week role with flexible and remote working options. Contract is for 3 months in Wembley, HA9 0FJ.
Pay Rate: £23.81 per hour PAYE

Key Requirements
Relevant professional qualification in Environmental Health or equivalent, such as a degree andNEBOSH qualification.
Registered with CIEH and experienced in food safety and health and safety enforcement.
Good knowledge of food safety and health and safety legislation.
Experience investigating food hygiene complaints, RIDDOR notifications and enforcement cases.
Key Responsibilities
Investigate complaints and carry out inspections to ensure legal standards are met.
Take enforcement action and provide advice to businesses and the public.
Gather evidence and prepare legal cases, including witness statements and court proceedings.
Manage a caseload of work, meeting deadlines and monitoring progress.
Maintain accurate records and ensure work meets council procedures and national guidance

Anticipated Length of Assignment: Unless otherwise stated (we do carry the occasional permanent vacancy) all of our roles are technically temporary, though opening assignments can be and often are, extended by clients on a longer term basis and can sometimes become permanent.
